Firelight~shadows on old white walls
make a story for all who see;
flickerings and dancings
in hues of red and gold
with a dash of blue,
a hint of green;
a puppet show
for the imagination.
Fire and wall meet in a whispering
slow waltz,
rudely interrupted
when the light goes on ~
and the magic is gone.
